Responsibilities for Operations Specialist
- Assist the Operations team in planning, organizing and coordinating manufacturing and supply chain activities
- Maintain updated inventory and material traceability logs
- Support on-site kitting and device programing operations, as well as return material processing
- Help troubleshoot issues and document them in our quality system
- Not be afraid to rethink current processes. Provide recommendations and suggestions for improvements in any aspects relating to efficiency and process flow
- Help build out our operations team that focuses on end to end efficiency
- Coordinates with different departments to support our clinical trials, and eventual commercialization once we gain FDA approval
Qualifications for Operations Specialist:
- Details, details, details! Loves to get the little things right, while focusing on the bigger picture
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Good social and presentation skills
- Team player that can do more with less
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Self-starter with the ability to work well under pressure
- Able to work effectively with minimal supervision
- Knowledge of handling general office equipment
- Proficient in software applications like MS Office and Google Suite, with a focus on spreadsheets
- Physical capability of standing or sitting for long hours each work day
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in business, manufacturing or supply chain operations is a
plus
- Knowledge of laser cutting and 3D printing a plus
- Knowledge of electronics fabrication a plus
- Degree in Engineering or technical degree preferred, or military service
in lieu of college
- 2+ years of working experience
- Prior experience working in an FDA regulated environment a huge plus
